Reaching and Teaching India with the Gospel

PLEASE NOTE : On April 19 at 5:30 AM, when their daughter-in-law, Swaroopa, came down to cook, she realized that they had been robbed. Someone had reached through the window and unlatched the door. The thief had stolen their telephones, the money which they had saved, and other valuables worth about 500,000 rupees (over $6,000.00 US) including their Honda motorcycle, which is Pastor Lingala’s main means of transportation. If you feel led to help purchase another motorcycle or replace some of the things that were stolen, please click the button on the right.

Training Pastors and Christian Workers

“Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?  When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You?  Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’  And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ “

Most of the believers in the villages are very poor & illiterate. The pastor may get paid with rice or wheat. They cannot afford to give much support to the pastor. We are hoping that some individuals or churches will feel led to help support some of the pastors, Christian workers and others who are being trained.

If you or your church would like to increase giving to Missions where there is a true need, please consider a one-time gift or monthly support to AIMS. The pastors do not need much to live on, and your gift will go a long way to help spread the Gospel.
