Asian Institute of Missions and Seminary (AIMS)
Pastor and teacher, Guraiah Lingala, with his wife and many of his former students who are now pastoring churches. The picture was taken at the engagement of his son and daughter-in-law. Also standing with him is Norman Monroe, who at that time was his co-worker in the ministry.
Thirty-four (34) former students are now part of the AIMS (Asian Institute of Missions and Seminary) Team, teaching and training other pastors and Christian workers in India. They are serving in more than 125 villages.

Before starting AIMS, Pastor Guraiah Lingala was a professor for 25 Years at Berean Baptist Bible College (Bangalore, India).
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you“
“And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.“
Guraiah Lingala started Asian Institute of Missions and Seminary (AIMS) 14 years ago to go into the villages and districts in India to train pastors and Christian workers who will evangelize and start churches and train more pastors and Christian workers.
In addition to overseeing and teaching in AIMS, Pastor Lingala also does evangelistic outreaches and pastors three (3) churches.
“Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ “
Most of the believers in the villages are very poor & illiterate. The pastor may get paid with rice or wheat. They cannot afford to give much support to the pastor. We are hoping that some individuals or churches will feel led to help support some of the pastors, Christian workers and others who are being trained.
If you or your church would like to increase giving to Missions where there is a true need, please consider a one-time gift or monthly support to AIMS. The pastors do not need much to live on, and your gift will go a long way to help spread the Gospel.
